An eldritch concept embodying memory and the problems with it. Common motifs include, but are not limited to: aging, time, memory loss, wisdom, loss of innocence, clinging to the past, childhood fantasies, fairy tales, the desire to escape from ordinary life, and seeing things in a horrible new light.
The most common portrayal is The Blind Man, an old man lacking sight or eyes in some way who has the ability to take memories away, and The Marchen, a living story that traps its victims in their childhood memories or some other ideal entrapment.
